Omschrijving
International School Hilversum is looking for caretaker/groundsman/concierge starting 1 June 2025.
Responsibilities
- Prepare rooms and other spaces for meetings and events and clear up afterwards; this includes serving refreshments as required. Some events fall outside of normal working hours and will be covered by overtime
- Responsible for litter picking around campus, cleaning communal areas as well as checking and emptying bins throughout the day
- Front of house duties; delivering parcels, meeting/escorting visitors and contractors
- During school holiday periods the caretaking duties may include moving and assembly of furniture and assisting with deep cleaning the school, amongst other tasks.
- Ensure all work is carried out in a cost effective and competent manner and to the required quality standard
- Ensure compliance with regulations, Health and Safety legislation where appropriate when carrying out duties
- Be aware of Emergency Procedures and location of First Aid equipment
- The caretaker will be expected to assist in other duties within the Facilities department as necessary, supporting cleaners, maintenance, and grounds staff.
- Delivering internal post and parcels when necessary.
